December  2003
            We've come to the end of another year, and what a year it has been. Membership has increased to 128, major changes have taken place on Montauk Highway, and we have a new Legislator. This will be my last meeting as your President and I want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement I have received over the past two years.

Christmas Parade: Sunday, December 14th* starting at noon.  The Parade will start out at the Southport Plaza Shopping Center (located just East of the junction of Montauk Highway and the William Floyd Parkway) and proceed East to Herkimer St (at the Fire Department).  Please note that Montauk Highway will be closed to traffic after 11:00 a.m.**

CHRISTMAS PARTY: We are going to have the party right after the meeting on December 8th, 2003. The meeting will start at 7:00pm and the party right after. The price is $10.00 each. This includes dinner and dancing to a seven piece band playing oldies. Dress is casual. We need to get a head count on who will be coming.
