Halloween Party

On October 24, 2009, The Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the office of 6th District Town Councilman Keith Romaine, sponsored a halloween party for children from all around the Tri-Hamlet Community. The event was held at the MBPOA clubhouse on Neighborhood Road. Here are some photos of the event courtesy of William Nevins, Jr. and The South Shore Press.

Children of varying ages, were hosted in morning and afternoon sessions
The kids were treated to cookies, ice cream and "goodie bags"
Some of the costumes were funny
and others were "spooky"
Attendees were treated to a great magic show.
Our thanks to the amazing Tony Corrao.
There were also make-up artists on hand to do "face painting"
Our artists arrived in costume as a witch, a mermaid and a clown.
Our gratitude to Councilman Romaine for co-sponsoring the event,
and to his staff and their family members for working the kitchen and serving treats.
And our special thanks to all of the volunteers who helped "in the trenches"
It's really the volunteers who make these events a success.
