The Chamber of Commerce of the Mastics and Shirley hosted the annual Networking Meeting on Monday May 10, 2004 at Ladakins RestaurantFollowing are some of the pictures from a great turnout:

After the buffet,   Town Supervisor John J. LaValle spoke to the benefits of residents' expression of  individual responsibility in the community and introduced Town Councilman Edward Hennessey and Planning Commissioner Dan Gulizzio.

Town Councilman Edward Hennessey gave all who attended an update on the Montauk Highway Revitalization project and forming a Business Improvement District (B.I.D.).  The Councilman is in large part responsible for reviving and ensuring the 17 Million dollar Federally awarded funds.  Current planning also includes provision for burying electric service and ensuring sewer services.  While the Councilman alluded to other sources of additional funds that may be applied to this project, it is appropriate that the Business Improvement District (once formed)  target a workable form of completion and frame a plan for funding the difference

Town Councilman Edward Hennessey (above) invites Planning Commissioner Dan Gulizzio (right) to speak of his extensive efforts on the Montauk Highway Revitalization project.

... Thank You, Town Supervisor John J. LaValle, Town Councilman Edward Hennessey and Planning Commissioner Dan Gulizzio
